Sewage leak causes injury

January 13th, 2008 · No Comments

Wilma Garrettson has filed a personal injury lawsuit against her landlords after sustaining an eye injury when sewage from the apartment above her fell into her eye. She claims that landlords, Robert and Diane Simile, are responsible for her injury.

While standing on top of the toilet and trying to replace a light, sewage from the apartment above dripped into her eye, causing her to fall and injure herself. Her eye, ribs, right foot, and back all suffered injury due to the sewage leak.

Garrettson states that her landlords were negligent in not fixing the sewage leak to the apartment above her. She seeks damages for her medical bills, impairment, loss of earning capacity, and pain and suffering.
